Porcelain Crowns

Caps and Crowns resemble and function much like your natural teeth.  If your tooth is too decayed and cannot withhold a filling or if your tooth is so badly cracked that the crack could spread down into the root, Dr. Jamie Sands and Dr. Jason Sands may recommend a crown as a solution.   The tooth is completely covered by the crown.  It fits securely at the gum line, protecting what remains of the natural tooth.

Dr. Jamie Sands and Dr. Jason Sands may suggest using a bridge when replacing one or more teeth.  This type of restoration is cemented onto the teeth and is often called "fixed" dentistry.  This type of restoration does not entail any removable appliances or partial dentures.
